Sales Terms and Conditions of GB Concept

 

Thank you for shopping with us. Please read the instruction manual of products carefully and retain it.

 

  1. VAT

All our quoted prices inclusive of 20% VAT

 

  1. PAYMENT

Minimum 30% deposit is required initially to place your order and to receive a formal invoice. The remaining balance must be paid and cleared 48 hours prior to delivery. Unfortunately, foreign credit and debit cards are not accepted as a method of payment. Minimum of 10% cash/card deposit payment is a must in finance sales. 

 

  1. DELIVERY

GB Concept does not charge for deliveries within the boundaries of the M25. Deliveries outside London may incur a charge. For details, please a member of staff. If you believe your delivery address is outside the UK. Northern Ireland you must state this before placing an order. On receipt of your goods into our warehouse we will promptly call you to arrange a suitable delivery date. You will be offered an initial delivery slot. If this not acceptable we will offer a maximum of two or more alternatives. Target delivery dates will be arranged within our normal delivery days, times and areas and you will be notified. The room must be cleared prior to the delivery day and there must be enough space for our team of assemblers to mount and locate furniture in the room comfortably. On the delivery day, our team will assemble (when necessary) goods in the room initially chosen by you and product must be inspected by you (the customer) and notify us of any shortfalls and visible damages. We cannot accept any claim for damages where the product is not inspected at the time of delivery and if the satisfaction note has been signed. Our team take all wrappings away.

 

  1. SPLIT DELIVERIES

If you have bought multiple products from us, we may need to do more than one delivery to you. Where this is necessary we will not charge for the additional delivery.

 

  1. DELIVERY DATES

All delivery dates quoted at the time of your order are estimated. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that, we honour estimated delivery dates, it is possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to be changed. However, any delay on delivery dates will not entitle you to any sort of compensation, also cancellation of the order will be subject to cancellation rules which can be seen on “Cancelling your order” section of the Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. TITLE

Ownership of goods shall remain with “GB Concept” and shall not pass to you until “GB Concept” receives full payment and the delivery has been completed.

 

  1. STORAGE

Once your goods arrive to our warehouse we will call to make arrangement for a delivery. We can only store your furniture in our warehouse for maximum of 2 weeks and storage charges will incur afterwards. The pricing will be based on value and sizes of the furniture you have purchased.

 

  1. DISPOSAL OF OLD FURNITURE

We do not collect or dispose of your old furniture however we recommend you to not to dispose your old furniture until you have been given a delivery date in the unlikely event of a delivery problem arising we cannot guarantee temporary of piece of furniture.

 

  1. ACCESS

We will do our best to place your goods in the desired location in your room, provided there is reasonable access. It is your responsibility to ensure that the products can be delivered into your restrictions. You should consider the vehicle access, lifts, staircases and narrow corridors.

 

  1. SIZES AND DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT

All sizes quoted are estimated. Size and product descriptions are given in good faith by our manufacturer information.

 

  1. VARIATION IN PRODUCT SPECS

Due to storage of certain new raw materials, changes in legislation or safety requirements some products supplied by the company may have small technical alterations and could differ slightly. The company state any changes that place which result in products improvement in quality and equality or better standards.

 

  1. MEASUREMENTS

It is the customer`s responsibility to measure their homes before purchasing furniture or if they are not requesting an interior designer facility.

 

  1. LIMITED WARRANTY

All goods are supplied with at least 24 months manufacturer’s warranty from date of delivery is of faulty workmanship or materials. Your stationery rights are unaffected. Additional charges will incur as call out charges and spare parts for any after sales requests after the warranty period expires. Please ask for pricing. Display items sold as seen. It is customer`s responsibility to inspect the product before purchasing. Warranty period for display products is 6 months from the time of delivery. Warranty will not cover any defects already displayed during the purchase. However, we may order new parts and carry out the repair work if the customer accepts to pay towards the cost. If new damages occur during delivery or installation these will be fully covered under the warranty.

 

13.1.                  WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY?

If the item is no longer sold we will provide an appropriate replacement. It is us that determine, at our sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement.

 

13.2.                  WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY?

This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, incorrectly used, inappropriately, abused, misused, altered or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts, scratches or damage caused by impacts of accidents. This limited warranty does not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment. This limited warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages. Please also follow the recommended weight loads.

 

13.3.                  WHAT WILL DO TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM?

We will examine the product and decide, at out note discretion, if it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, we go through our own service operations, will then at our sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this limited warranty, we will pay the costs of repair, spare parts, labour and expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorised by us. Replacement parts become the property of us.

 

  1. GENERAL CARE

The products supplied are to be used for the general purpose which they were designed for. All our products come with card and maintenance instructions. We will not take any responsibility for misuse of products.

 

  1. MOVING FURNITURE

In case of moving home or moving your furniture to another room, installation and moving of furniture must be done by professional GB Concept staff for the guarantee to be effective. This will incur a cost depending on the products and distance. We will not take any responsibility in damages which occur while any of our products uninstalled, moved to another house or room and installed by is non-GB Concept staff.

 

  1. CATALOGUE AND ONLINE SALES

Goods bought from our website or our catalogue may show differences in colour and material as images may cause optical illusions.

 

  1. CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

Made to order are products which has been specifically produced for you, therefore no refunds or exchanges can be made at any time. Any deposit is non-refundable. If it is finance sale it is your right to cancel finance application in 14 days purchase but this DOES NOT mean the cancelling the order. The invoice total must be paid in full by alternative ways. However, if you want to cancel your order, 30% of the total invoice amount must be paid to GB Concept to cover any subsidy and administration fees. If the payment is not received, GB Concept has the right to pass on your information to Debt Collection Agencies, which will result in bad credit rating and additional collection costs.

 

  1. RETURNS

Faulty products can be returned to the GB Concept warehouse. Products cannot be returned if unwrapped. Any wrapped product must be returned to the GB Concept warehouse and 30% of the product price will not be refunded.

 

  1. CANCELLATION BY GB CONCEPT

We reserve the right not to accept any order if:

-        We do not have the stock to fulfil the order

-        We are unable to deliver to your area

-        An item was incorrectly priced

-        Your payment was not authorised

-        You have not complied with our T&Cs

-        Items production has been discontinued
